Level 1:  APRIL 7, 8 & 9, 2017 at Yoga Peace Kula, Howell, NJ

Become Certified in Prenatal Yoga, while re­discovering woman’s connection to her natural rhythms in nature. This training is for 200­hour certified yoga teachers who are ready to dive deep into women’s history, cycles and spirituality. As a prenatal yoga teacher you can be a guide for women as they make this major life transition to motherhood and learn to hold space for repeat moms to process thoughts and emotions. Learn safe alignment and appropriate poses, meditations, mantra and mudra for each trimester.

Clear and precise alignment focused on female anatomy to present best and safe practices.

Stillness through meditation and tools to ground emotions will create equanimity both in the training and in your future classes.

A compassionate approach of acceptance of all women’s choices, views and culture will set the tone.

This Yoga Alliance Certified 85­hour training is broken up into 3 parts:

Level One: The foundations of prenatal yoga that will enable you to teach a rich and encompassing prenatal class.

Level Two: Digging Deeper will give a full understanding of each trimester and how to address specific needs. Post partum practices and doula led Anatomy and Physiology presented.

Level Three: Birthing Magic teaches you to create a sacred experience out of every class you teach. Study women’s earth based traditions and new evolutions in birthing and parenting. Explore marketing tools to create a thriving business. Gain experience teaching and step into your power as a leader.

Summer Quashie is a E­RYT 500 and E­RPYT, Reiki Master and long time student of Tibetan Buddhism. She started Sacred Shape prenatal training in 2011, several years after the birth of her daughter, when expectations were high for her to “just squat and pop the baby”. She has been teaching yoga since 2002, co­-created the Greenhouse Holistic YTT and Yoga Sukhavati YTT, taught at the NY Open Center, the Rubin Museum of Art, Lineage Project and has led countless retreats around the world. She currently lives on the Jersey shore with her brilliant daughter Lulha and yogi husband.
