Training in the Subtle Arts of Healing:

Level 1 "A Magical Experience"

For yoga teachers, therapists and budding healers

May 27-30, 2016 - Seven Arrows, Locust, NJ

Taught by Summer Quashie & Julianna Takacs

I felt taken care of the entire time. Your preparation and years of study were so evident in the flow of the weekend and the delivery of information. I feel lucky to have been present for the first edition of this training, and I believe it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
— Level 1 Participant

Were you drawn to teaching yoga as a way of helping others in a deep, meaningful way?

Do you believe in the capacity to transform and heal through your very being?

As you teach more, do you sense a growing responsibility to honestly take care of yourself (you know, to truly practice what you preach)?

Do you wish to deepen your understanding of energy and intuition as tools for transformation?

Every year it seems society as a whole is embracing a more natural, holistic approach to physical and mental well-being. It’s an exciting time of immense possibility.  There are not only more people practicing yoga than ever before, but more teachers, and we hope, more people wishing to understand the more subtle, powerful aspects of energy and healing.

We will be spending 3 full days, for Level 1, in a focused, beautiful retreat setting exploring and building confidence in the Subtle Arts of Healing. In this training we will focus on three main aspects: Self Care, Healing Tools and Widening the Circle:

Healing Tools

  • Receive and practice Level 1 Reiki attunement

  • Study the energetics and use of 6 essential oils

  • Establish a relationship with 6 healing crystals

  • Learn tools for creating sacred space and ritual

  • Learn dynamics of healing touch

  • Improve and strengthen your use of hands on adjustments

Widening the Circle

Level 1 & 2

  • Gain confidence in reading and assessing group energy

  • Guidance in holding space

  • Create your own personal ritual

  • Foster community in class, workshops, retreats

  • Maintain and grow your community

  • Develop communication and networking skills

The skillful, ethical direction of intuition and energy is part of the foundation of a healer, not just a teacher.  The subtle arts of deep healing might not automatically come with a certificate, yet, they are a natural, intuitive part of each and every one of us.  In this training, we will ignite the ancient wisdom within and give you practical hands-on experience in trusting and using these tools and techniques.  Put some of those tools into practice right now! If there a tiny part of you whispering that this might be the next right step in your journey of serving and healing…will you answer that call?

Currently, she live on the Jersey shore and operate the yoga retreat center, Seven Arrows.  There she unschools her daughter, learns from nature, contemplates  consciousness, teaches privates, leads and cooks for retreats and offers artisan healing sessions.
